2019 has been a positively exciting one for IOTA and our community. Our feeless distributed ledger technology is sweeping the world as companies, entrepreneurs, and developers pick up our open source tools to build applications that will change how humans and machines interact.

With so many great announcements, it was sometimes hard to keep track of all the incredible achievements the Foundation made in the last 12 months:

Come Join Dan Simerman, head of Financial Relations for the IOTA Foundation, as he walks through some of the biggest developments in 2019, a sneak peak into IOTA’s strategy for 2020, and his assessment of the blockchain and distributed ledger market in general.

The IOTA Foundation is an international non-profit foundation based in Berlin, Germany. Our goal is to develop an open-source protocol that supports data and value transfer between devices and humans in future IOT networks. We do this through an open ecosystem of public institutions, innovative start-ups and non-profit organizations. Our innovation is a free-to-use, distributed ledger known as the IOTA Tangle. The Tangle overcomes many of the challenges of traditional communication infrastructure through its novel architecture, bringing the vision of a decentralized, trusted and resilient Internet within reach.
