Let's Discuss Incarnation

Let's read the Gospel of John:1:1-14 and discuss the Incarnation from Progressive or Liberal Christian perpsectives. What does it mean to you? Is it only about Jesus, or is it about more? What meaning can we can we derive from it for our own lives and for the salvation of the world? In what ways does God work through incarnation?
