What we're about

Ever wanted to get out on your bike and see some great sights? We run amazing cycle trips to some of the best sites in the UK and Europe. Our mission is to provide cycling adventures that get away from traffic, back to nature and explore some of the best cycling destinations in Europe. On the trips we use hybrid, touring or mountain bikes predominately on designated cycle trails and backroads. We are experienced riders and leaders and have worked in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years. Cycling routes average around 40-60 km per day and involve a mixture of flat and undulating terrain. We welcome beginner, Intermediate and experienced riders depending on how the ride is graded and above all we are about having fun, meeting great people and enjoying the diversity of this great continent.

Pedaling the Peak District

Please see here for further government guidance. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do Trip Overview: The Peak District is a fantastic place to ride, full to the brim with fantastic cycle trails, walled lanes and dramatic scenery. Renowned for its rolling hills, plateau’s, valleys and limestone gorges; to the eye, the Peak District presents as an inescapable challenge on two pedal-powered wheels. However, the trails which cut through the hills make it accessible to the leisure cyclist without spoiling the scenery. It's an exceptional extended weekend on your bike exploring all that this region has to offer - breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife and a tart/pudding or two! Route details: for details on each day's route please visit https://www.eurocycleadventures.com/peakdistrict Distance: 165km (4 days cycling) Terrain and Elevation: The ride has some challenging sections in the hills, although every effort is made to use the numerous flat disused railway lines. The optional day 1 and day 2 are the most challenging and these are both circular routes; ideal for the intermediate rider. Grading: 4/5. This ride is graded as intermediate because whilst the ride is manageable for a semi-regular rider with medium fitness, there are some hilly sections to encounter Logistics: The first day's ride is a short 20km ride and is optional.
