What we're about

Since 2014, Bicycling and the City has worked hard to create a social scene for people looking to their legs AND their social circle! This unique meetup platform matches riders of all experience levels with the group that suits their needs. Whether you’re looking to dust off the old cruiser, or just suped up your wheels for the next big race, Bicycling and the City has something to offer!

Why bother with traffic, parking tickets, and the money pit of a gas tank when you could be using your time and money to live your adventure? With group rides to the most hopping events, festivals, activities and restaurants in Washington, DC and other cities, BATC guarantees a one-of-a-kind recreational experience. You bring yourself, we’ll bring the friendly encouragement.

So let’s get you back in the saddle! Come join Renee (AKA the girl on the blue bike), as she introduces you to a side of the city you can only see from the comfort of your own two wheels.
