What we're about

We welcome people of all shapes and sizes who want to get together for casual bike rides through San Antonio and Hill Country parks, and who may be intimidated about keeping up with more veteran riders.

Our rides will be across easy to moderate terrain for no longer than 8 miles (unless we get really excited after building up some stamina)! We will stick to paved or even trails (like caliche).

We will bike at a pace that is comfortable for everyone, and we won't leave anybody behind. We will encourage each other along the way and hopefully make some new friends.

Salado Greenway: Phil Hardberger Park to Huebner

Location visible to members

We will be riding the Salado Creek Greenway from Phil Hardberger Park to Huebner Road, about 4 miles round-trip. This is a paved trail that covers some gentle hills along Salado Creek. Plan to meet outside the restrooms at Phil Hardberger Park (East), 13203 Blanco Road San Antonio, TX 78216. Try to be there 5-10 minutes early so we have time to introduce ourselves. In addition to your bikes, be sure to wear your helmets and bring water. Space is limited so we don't hog the paths. If you can't make it, please update your RSVP status quickly to let folks on the waitlist join in on the fun. Pets are welcome if they are in proper carriers (bike baskets or ride-alongs). Children who can ride are also welcome. We have lots of beginners in this group, so don't be afraid to ask questions!
