2nd Apache Kafka Workshop

Hello everyone,

I little gift before Christmas :)

Based on your feedback, we decided to repeat the Kafka workshop ! Please be nice and let the spots for those who couldn’t participate in the first workshop. All the examples and slides will be the same as in the first one.

As you maybe know, Kafka (https://kafka.apache.org/) is a massively scalable pub/sub message queue architected as a distributed transaction log, making it highly valuable for enterprise infrastructures to process streaming data. It aims to provide a unified, high-throughput, low-latency platform for handling real-time data feeds.

The goal of this workshop is to introduce you the main Kafka characteristics tried by practical examples. We are gonna play with twitter stream datasets ;)
Examples will be explained and written using Java language.

If you wanna try Kafka examples, please bring your laptop.
We will provide soon details about how to install Kafka on your laptop.

For a better organisation of the workshop, the number of participants is limited to 20.
