The next Dr. Elephant Meetup is happening Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at the Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant in San Jose, California. This is a chance to meet with other Dr. Elephant users and developers, hear about what Dr. Elephant is up to in helping improve Spark and Hadoop developer productivity and cluster efficiency. This session will explore recent improvements to Dr. Elephant work, the data it collects from Spark environments and the customizable heuristics that generate tuning recommendations. Pepperdata, an open source contributor to Dr. Elephant, will also speak about recent work they’ve done to improve detailed causes and recommendations. Learn how Dr. Elephant can be used to improve production cluster operations, help developers avoid common issues, and green light applications for use on production clusters. This meetup is on the first day of the Strata Data conference but is open to everybody whether they are attending Strata Data Conference or not.
