Details

Held in Melbourne, OpenStack Australia Day is set to be the region’s largest, and Australia’s best, conference focusing on Open Source cloud technology. Gathering users, vendors and solution providers OpenStack Australia Day is an industry event to showcase the latest technologies and share real-world experiences of the next wave of IT virtualisation. Hosted by Aptira and the OpenStack Foundation, this conference will feature a range of sessions on the broader cloud and Software Defined Infrastructure ecosystem including OpenStack, containers, PaaS and automation with insights from some of the most talented members of the OpenStack community. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear real business cases, learn about new products, and participate in hands-on workshops, as well as a networking event for a less formal opportunity to engage with the community. We have a stack of prizes and giveaways available, with the chance to win a free pass to the November Sydney OpenStack Summit (valued at $600), a free registration for the OpenStack COA exam, 2 x Nespresso coffee machines, a 3D printer and more. This venue will include free event wi-fi for all attendees, a restaurant featuring the best of Victorian and Australian produce, contemporary bars and on-site accommodation.
