We’re excited to announce that our Big data meetups are back with this amazing session happening next week on Wednesday the 21st of August at Google.

Talk 1 – Let’s talk about GCP services for big data
Bio: Sub joined Google almost 7 years ago. He works with the Cloud Platform Engineering Support team as a Technical Manager. He has been working across various big data services at Google. His specialties: Cloud Computing, Analytics, Data processing, Distributed computing, Entrepreneurship, Operations at Scale, Strategy, Program and project management.

Talk 2 – Deploying Kafka Kubernetes Operator on GCP
Bio: Simon Aubury is a Principal Data Engineer at ThoughtWorks. He has a background in highly available distributed systems and loves building enterprise streaming applications. His recent passion is building Kafka based platforms for banks, insurance & real-time vehicle tracking.
