The BigWP meetup is open to developers, product managers, and editorial teams who work on high-traffic or high-profile WordPress sites, typically in the media or large enterprises. If you plan on attending, please be sure to RSVP as space is limited.
Doors will open at 6:00pm and presentations start at 6:30pm. Talks will finish at around 7:30pm and be followed by drinks. After the meetup we will go to the pub.

David will talk about Pragmatic's work to consolidate Bacardi's websites into a WordPress marketing platform. There will be an emphasis on the key problems during this process, including budget difficulties, and expanding on the problems within agency immaturity vs client sophistication.

Gutenberg: The new core WordPress editor
In this talk Kimb will be showing progress of Gutenberg, the new content editing experience for WordPress. He'll be doing a little history around the how's and why's, looking at the impact of this change for new and existing WordPress sites, and, most importantly, how you can get ready for the arrival of Gutenberg which is currently targeted for early June 2017.
