Haunted ride on the Mohawk-Hudson Rail Trail

Details

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/7/0/8/event_163250952.jpegThere are many daily locations that have numerous tragic events but none as strongly as the railways and railroad stations. All over the world there are accounts of paranormal phenomena associated with the tragedies on the railway lines. The most common accounts are of the ‘ghost-light’ along the tracks at night, the ghost of a conductor walking the tracks, the spirits of children pushing stalled cars over the tracks and even passengers haunting the stations.

We will depart from the Bike Barn and begin our 20 mile ride along the Mohawk-Hudson Bikeway just before sunset. Our final destination will be the old train station at Lyons Park in Niskayuna. If you make it past all of the haunts and arrive safely at Lyons Park you will be rewarded with Apple Cider and Donuts. There will be additional surprises and treats as well. Costumes are encouraged but not required. We do require a helmet and lights as we value your safety and you will be returning in the dark.

You must ride the trail. No chickens who just want to meet us at Lyons park please.
