Ongoing - "Tow Path Tuesdays" (Open Riding for All Types of Bikes!) This Tuesday we will be cycling along the scenic Mohawk-Hudson Bikeway from Cohoes to Niskayuna's Lyons Park. Distance will be somewhere between 8 - 18 miles depending on whether or not you choose to go the full distance to Lyons Park or just to the Colonie Town Park. Ride starts at the Bike Barn in Cohoes at our new location of 109 Remsen St. at 6:00pm. Riders can also meet up with the group at the Colonie Town Park as we pass by there around 6:30pm on our way to Niskayuna.
"Tow Path Tuesdays" are recreational rides aimed at getting people out on their bikes in a fun social environment. Ride at your own relaxed pace! Entry level riders and those just getting back into it, this is your day to soak in the sun and surroundings. Rides vary every week in a three week rotation. Please check the listing for that week. These rides are weather permitting and will encompass bike paths, canal paths, urban riding and points of interest. Most rides are considered to be easy so dust off your bike, grab your helmet, and join us!
