Second Sunday Bike Like a Girl No Drop Ride

Join us for our "Bike Like A Girl" monthly road rides, held the second Sunday of each month! Meet @ 9:45, pedals down @ 10:00. *****

It's a "no drop" women only ride. ("No drop" means no one is left behind - we'll wait at intersections and ride at a speed that works for everyone.)

This month our rides will start in Folsom and head different directions. The 35 mi ride will go towards Penryn while the shorter ride will cruise on the American River Bike Trail and the Johnny Cash Trail.

The 25 MILE RIDE will be head out on the American River Bike Trail, cross the Rainbow Bridge, head towards the Sunrise Bridge, turn around there and head back taking the Johnny Cash Trail to Folsom Crossing instead of crossing the Rainbow Bridge.

Because of the distances, these ride aren’t really for beginners. But if you have experience and are comfortable with the distance, we’d love to have you along for the ride, regardless of your pace.

So don’t worry if you’re not yet tearing up the road! This is a "no drop" women's only ride. No one will be left behind - we'll wait at intersections and ride at a speed that works for everyone.

p.s. We’d love to offer a beginner-level shorter ride as well. Please post in the comments below if you would like to volunteer to lead and/or sweep it.

Requirements: Helmet, food and water for your ride, and flat repair supplies (have on hand even if you don't know how to change a flat).
