"The Synergy of Business and Healthcare - Equals Great Companies"
with Special Guest - Dr Ziv Karni - Founder & CEO, Alma Lasers

Nov 7, 2018, Hebrew University Mount Scopus - Barbara Mandel Auditorium

A successful Healthcare Company is the sum of successful teamwork with various resources, disciplines, and skills, all focused on developing a product at the right time with the right business plan. And, of course, all fully understood by the entire team. Many businesses have failed because of a mistaken focus on solely the technology and the research, while efforts need to focus on the product or service and the business of bringing it to the market. Obviously, the business must be innovation-driven, with science and technology creating added value that will disrupt the traditional markets.

Dr Ziv Karni, has brought dozens of novel medical technologies to the market over 25 years spanning several leading Medical laser companies including, Laser Industries, ESC (known as Lumenis) and the latest, Alma Laser (acquired for $240M during 2013). Dr Karni will be speaking about his experience and his advice to the next generation of bio-entrepreneurs.
