What we're about

If you are an African American mother looking for a social group for your children (who are bi-racial) to learn while they play, we welcome you. Our mission is for our children to recognize the greatness within themselves and their friends; to support and build each others unique gifts, while building up each others weakness; to make each child mature, confident and goal oriented; to love each other with God's love- honesty, loyalty, kindness, protectiveness...to realize that no one child is more special tan the other, they will all face the same opportunities and challenges that they will learn to lean on each other for, ultimately building a unique circle of friends to last through their years.

Opportunities for the children will involve cooking, singing, volunteering, neighborhood clean-up, visiting orphanages and senior citizen homes, entering contest, starting a community garden, donating an art project to the city, etc. We also want to broaden their education and culture with fieldtrips to museums, math and scientific fairs, theatre events, musicals, art exhibits, Lego Great Ball Championships, children cook-offs, etc. We will offer weekly study days, where children can do their homework together, then play afterwards like watching a movie or free-play. The This is a Christian based group and ages 0-14 are welcome.
