ML.NET 101: Machine Learning for .NET Developers

Details

Abstract:
Everyone thinks machine learning is hard but not any more (at least for .NET developers).

ML.NET is an open source and cross-platform Microsoft framework. No matter what OS you use (Windows, Linux or Mac), we've got you covered! In this session we’ll introduce ML.NET and tooling so that any .NET developer can get started adding ML to their .NET apps.

Speaker Bio:
Bri Achtman is a program manager at Microsoft on the .NET team, currently working on ML.NET. She spends her time finding and sharing the many interesting ways .NET developers are using machine learning and improving the user experience for getting started with ML.NET. Outside of work, Bri is a Vanderbilt alumna who loves taking her dog on long walks to the ice cream shop.

Luis Quintanilla is a passionate technologist based out of New York with experience in machine learning and software development. His main area of focus is creating resources that make it easier for developers to get started in their artificial intelligence and machine learning journey. In previous roles, he served as an Analytics Developer in the financial services industry as well as an Artificial Intelligence Consultant where he helped clients envision how they could transform their business through artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. When not at work, he's usually tinkering with different tools/technologies, applying them in different scenarios and sharing findings with others.
