BE Festival - general information

I am about to post two events for the BE Festival which starts today at the Rep and lasts until July 12th. The two events have been chosen to highlight because among the performances there is one likely to be of particular interest to Spanish speakers. However there are others that are relevant so do check out the programme.
This is broadly how the festival works. Each night, there are FOUR shows, each lasting no more than 30 mins. Each night there is at least show with some content from Spain or Latin America. All shows take place in The Studio. There's an interval after two performances when the audience are able to sit down for dinner together in an informal restaurant created in the venues main stage. Dinner is optional, and there is a relaxed bar area to enjoy aswell/instead. There is a real mix of work each night: think of it as 'theatre tapas'! For each individual, there's bound to be at least one thing you love and probably at least one thing perhaps less so! But hopefully the entire evening is an experience, where you will get to see a real range of theatre, some of which you probably wouldn't normally think of trying but hopefully go away from inspired and pleasantly surprised!
Don't forget if you go to the opening night tonight (no Spanish content) you not only get a 2 for the price of 1 offer you will also get £15 worth of vouchers to spend on other nights during this festival or for any other performance at the Rep until well into Autumn.
Nightly festival tickets are normally £12. Or you can buy a 5 day pass for next week's performances for £50.
