Hi All,
After a short break, we’re back, and this time in person.
We are trialling a new location, with food, drinks, networking, and some exciting talks planned. Spaces for this event will be limited, as we are trying to gauge potential interest for the future.
We will have three exciting talks for the evening, including:
- Homomorphic encryption (Charlie Anglin) - What if you could analyse data without ever seeing it? Homomorphic encryption makes that possible, and it’s closer to real-world adoption than you might think. In this talk, we'll explore what it is, how it can be used, and why it’s poised to reshape the future of secure computing.
- Introduction to Kubernetes Operators (Amit Jain) - This talk will introduce the concept of Operators, explain how they work, and explore real-world use cases that demonstrate their value in modern cloud-native environments.
- IaC: Infrastructure as Capriccio (Gabriel Duraye) -Are software engineers accidentally bringing to life an 18th century art movement? Combining art theory and industry case studies, I’ll explore the devastating epidemic of neverending projects, the failure of supposedly fail-safe SDLCs, and how organisations may recover yet.
If you would like to speak at one of our future meetups, please reach out to our organisers, who will be happy to speak to you. We would love for more people from the community to be involved!
