WALK: Clent Hills, Halesowen Railway along Monarch's Way circular

This is a 12 mile walk around some breath taking scenery :)

We walk along the Worcestershire path, through Uffmoor Wood and onto the old Halesowen Railway via Monarch's Way. We then head south on Monarch's Way to Waseley Hills Country Park where we can stop for lunch, drinks, toilet break for 45 minutes. We then swing west back to the Clent Hills via South Romsley. This is a 12-mile walk planned by me that we walked April last year and Feb this year with another group and with Birmingham 30's and 40's, it went really well, we had an amazing day!

No public transport to Clent I believe, but... If you comment where you live, there will be enough of us going, I am sure someone will help out. I am coming from Quinton for example... Car sharing makes sense :)

Please bring with you:

Good walking shoes
Water
Food / Sandwiches for Picnic at Waseley (They also sell food)
Snacks
Cash
2 plastic bags (you will thank me later)

We are only ever a maximum 5 miles away from the start so if you get tired or need to stop a taxi should only be about a fiver to get back to the car park.

At the end of the walk we can find a pub to have a well-earned beverage or 2!
