Using EventBridge for Cross Account Event Management

Details

Happy anniversary BHM AWS! We're excited to welcome back John Byrd of US Bank, and a recent participant of our Cloud Security Panel for a technical deep dive on AWS EventBridge on Thursday, February 25.

In celebration of our 1 year anniversary, our 2021 sponsor Trend Micro are giving away two $250 Amazon gift cards to lucky participants! Before Feb 24, post on LinkedIn with a summary of something new with AWS you've recently done, or plan to try. @-tag Birmingham AWS Meetup and include #bhmaws on your post to be entered in a drawing for these two great gifts. All entries must be posted to LinkedIn by 12am CST Feb 25. The drawing will take place at the end of our February 25 meetup.

Using EventBridge for Cross Account Event Management -
Logging in AWS is pretty simple. Check the box and choose a location.
In this session we look at taking important events distributed across all accounts and responding using a centrally managed solution.

John Byrd is a Birmingham resident and recent addition to US Bank as Manager of Cloud Vulnerability and Configuration Management.

The Meetup Zoom conference will open at 11:45am CST and will start promptly at 12pm. The session will be recorded and made available online for repeat viewing at the BHM AWS YouTube Channel. Thanks to Trend Micro for their continued support of the Birmingham tech community and our virtual sessions.
