After a small hiatus we are back bigger and better than ever with lots of cool WordPress specific stuff for you to digest! After gathering feedback, we are starting a-little later to allow people to get to the meetup.

Join us for our regular (again, promise!) WordPress meetup with goodies for everyone from new users to experienced developers. We welcome WordPress users of ALL levels, so come along and find out what's going on in your local UK WordPress and wider global community! The meetup starts at 6.30pm, speakers start at 7pm. Expect some great company and plenty of learning! Although we finish at the venue at 8.30, some people usually carry on for a drink and good discussion after!

We are returning to Cherry Reds - ~the team has been very welcoming to us, so please be nice to them! Please do be warned that this place has a-lot of 'character' and access to the room is via stairs, we are sorry if this causes inconveniences but we have really struggled to find an appropriate venue that ticks all the boxes.

Cheery Reds is just a few minutes walk from New Street station right in the heart of the city - you can drop by their website over at http://www.cherryreds.com/ or their Twitter feed is over at https://twitter.com/ilovecherryreds

The meetup will be happening in The Map Room - so just ask how to get to that when you arrive! It's a relatively small room I'm afraid so numbers are hard-limited to 25 attendees (please remove your RSVP if you can't make it thanks!). If all goes well there is a larger room available for future meet-ups.

THIS MONTH

Firstly, we are introducing a new 'What's happening in WordPress' round-up of news and views on what's hot (and maybe not!) in the WordPress world this month - a great way to catch-up on things and good food for thought!

Also, after the success of previous months, we are re-instating the Lean Coffee discussion! This usually runs for about 30 minutes; bring your ideas, questions or thoughts on anything WordPress, web development or web industry related; we'll group discuss them for 3 minutes (with optional final extension of 3 minutes!)

Jonny Allbut will also be giving a short talk on the up-coming WordCamp Birmingham conference - things have been happening behind the scenes ;)
