What we're about

This group is for ALL bisexual/non-monosexual folks in Fairfield County AND our allies. We welcome people of all genders, cisgender, transgender, gender non-conforming, androgynous, of no particular gender, or some combination of some or all over time. Let's build a stronger community and work together to increase bi+ visibility and support. This is a general meetup group open to anyone who's interested in helping to support a stronger LGBTQ community -- you do not have to identify as bisexual in order to join! Those who identify as queer, pansexual, omnisexual, fluid, or another non-monosexual identity are always welcome and encouraged to join, and we discourage "identity policing" -- how you choose to self-identify will be respected. "Bisexual" here is used as an umbrella term and is NOT meant to exclude folks who identify otherwise, but, rather, to increase our visibility and support network within the larger community. Gay, lesbian, straight, and asexual folks, you are also warmly welcomed if supporting the bi+ community is important to you. Closeted or out, monogamous or polyamorous, all are welcome as long as you treat others in the group with respect.

We meet once a month (first Thursday of each month) at 7:30 pm for confidential discussion and peer support at the Triangle Community Center ( ) in Norwalk, CT. We also coordinate and share social outings, such as movie nights, hikes, dinners out, visiting LGBTQ clubs & events, & planning for things like Celebrate Bisexuality Day/Bi+ Visibility Day in September or Pride events in the summer.

This is NOT intended to be a hookup group; those who make others uncomfortable by posting inappropriate content or harassing other members will be removed. However, if you happen to make a romantic connection that starts as a respectful friendship through the group, great! The ultimate goal here is to help foster a warm, supportive community of friends.

NOTE: You do not have to join our Meetup group in order to be involved (our peer-support meetings are a drop-in group, and not everyone uses Meetup), but schedule changes and cancellations will be posted here. Any questions/issues, please don't hesitate to reach out via e-mail:
