About us

This is the London chapter of BitDevs. It is a public meetup group open to all: developers, aspiring developers and non-developers who want to learn and discuss Bitcoin technology. BitDevs organizes Socratic Seminars in various cities around the world. It was started in NYC in 2013.

Join us for the next London BitDevs Socratic Seminar! We'll be covering the latest research, ideas, and developments in Bitcoin and related protocols. This is a highly interactive evening where participants are encouraged to share their insights, ask questions, and collaborate.

We've moved! This seminar is taking place at Antidote, instead of our usual location in Westminster.

## What to Expect

Our discussions are technical, and we don't shy away from diving into the nitty-gritty details. However, each topic will be briefly introduced for those less familiar with the subject matter.
Whether you're an experienced contributor or simply curious to learn more, you're welcome to join the conversation. As long as you have a basic understanding of how Bitcoin works, you'll find something interesting to take home.

We will announce the final discussion topics shortly before the event on londonbitdevs.org. If you have a specific topic you'd like to dive into, please leave a comment on the appropriate pull request in our GitHub repo.

- We enforce a strict no-photo and no-video policy and adhere to Chatham House Rule, to ensure everyone feels comfortable to attend and speak freely.
- This is a technical, Bitcoin only event. Other projects and non-technical topics are not discussed.
