⚡ Bitcoin Lightning Network Hackday #2 ⚡

Details
Welcome to the second Bitcoin Lightning Network Hackday! This will be the second of a series of Hackdays that we'll host to explore and discover the Lightning Network! #lightninghackday
---
There'll be 100 spots for this event. In order to guarantee high quality and participation, please fill out the RSVP and we'll manually unlock you for this event. If you want to have a guaranteed spot, you can get your golden ticket here: http://tiny.cc/goldenticket
The Hackday is inspired by the idea of Barcamps and Unconferences. This means: The more you put in, the more you get out! Explore, learn, share, build!
This will be a technical event, so be ready to nerd away! We also expect this event to be overbooked, so please make sure to fill out the RSVP properly and ONLY respond if you actually plan to participate.
We will have a bigger focus on building LApps (Lightning Apps) this time, so people who RSVP with their idea for a LApp have a higher chance to attend.
Here's the schedule for the event:
9.30: : Doors open, registration, set-up.
10.00: Official welcome by the sponsor and the organizer. Ideas for the barcamp tracks are pitched. This can be anything: Presentation of an excisting project, a workshop, a discussion. You can prepare something in advance or make something up on the spot. Bring your own topics, problems and questions.
10.30-11.00: Opening speech by Olaoluwa Osuntokun https://twitter.com/roasbeef and Conner Fromknecht https://twitter.com/bitconner from Lightning Labs
11.00-12.00: The inner workings of Bitcoin. Felix https://twitter.com/felixweis will go over the basics of the Bitcoin Blockchain (aka MOAB) again. This talk will not be a beginners talk, you should already have a basic understanding. It will be held to refresh your memory and give you the chance to ask some questions about Bitcoin that you don't usually get to ask.
12.00-13.00 Pizza break!
13.00-15.00: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Lightning* (*But Were Afraid to Ask) - an interactive deep dive into the Lightning Network. This two-hour track will cover the basic of the Lightning Network, e.g. Payment Channels, HTLCs and Onion Routing on LN. You need to have a good understanding about how the Bitcoin Blockchain works in order to attend this workshop and get the most out of it. And you'll also play a part in it - literally. Stefan (https://twitter.com/stefanwouldgo), co-founder of https://bitcoinprivacy.net/ and co-host of the Honigdachs podcast (https://coinspondent.de/honigdachs-der-bitcoin-podcast-aus-leipzig/) will lead this session.
15.30-16.00: Q&A with Elizabeth Stark https://twitter.com/starkness and Bryan Vu https://twitter.com/bvu from Lightning Labs
12.00-18.00: ⚡ Barcamp tracks. ⚡ Setting up a Lightning Node on a Raspberry Pi. We'll provide some fresh Pis, but you may also bring your own device. Christian (https://twitter.com/rootzoll) will be there to help you through the process. ⚡ Hacktrack. Build your own LApp (Lightning App) or anything related to the Lightning Network you'd like to work on and demo later. We'll have some prices and also the chance to demo at a different event in front of Lightning Network and Layer 2 developers. Details tba.
18.00-19.00: Demos of the LApps.
19.00: Closing remarks by Elizabeth Stark https://twitter.com/starkness
After that, we'll head out to room77 to have some beers and burgers and hopefully pay via Lightning. Or help room77 set up Lightning payments. There are some specials waiting for us at room77.
Please note that this schedule is subject to change. If you have any suggestions or projects, please don't hesitate to contact us.
