Economist and author Saifedean Ammous comes to Munich to talk about "The Bitcoin Standard", which is the title of his new book in which he examines various historical monetary systems, from seashells to the gold standard, in order to draw lessons relevant to Bitcoin.
Obviously, you'll have the opportunity to get your copy of the book signed in-person tonight! The book will be sold tonight too while stocks last.
We'll also have special guests from Venezuela, so we can learn first-hand about the situation in that country, and how crypto-currencies are being utilized there.

Dr. Saifedean Ammous is Assistant Professor of Economics at the Lebanese American University, and Foreign Member of the Center on Capitalism and Society at Columbia University. He is the author of "The Bitcoin Standard: The Decentralized Alternative to Central Banking", the first serious academic treatise on the economics of bitcoin.
