Jack Mallers Zap PoS {workshop}

This is a BOB workshop with a bit of a twist. This event takes place on Saturday the 19th, at the Hubbard Inn, where we’ll hear about the new Zap Point of Sale system from Jack Mallers and buy our drinks via the Lightning Network!
The event
This is a celebration of how far Lightning has come, and a view into what the future of commerce will look like. It is a demonstration of the new Zap PoS application and custom hardware Jack has put together running Bitcoin Core, LND and BTCPay Server. It turns a normal brick and mortar merchant, ignorant to the inner-workings of Bitcoin, into a fully fledged Bitcoin merchant both on-chain and on Lightning.
If you have yet to make a purchase using Lightning here is your chance! This is an opportunity to use the LN and have your questions answered! Bring your laptop and get guidance on setting up nodes, etc.
Prerequisites
This is not a beginner course. This is an opportunity for people who understand the Lightning Network to talk to Jack about his PoS project and buy drinks (some for Jack!) with LN payments. We recommend that you have a node (lnd, clightning, or eclair) set up and connected to a mobile app. (See the prep section below.)
Logistics
The event will run on January 19th 6-9PM on the First Floor of Hubbard Inn (110 W. HUBBARD ST.).
Jack will introduce the product at 6:30 and then be available to answer questions.
Drinks only will be available for purchase from 6-9 for those who chose to opt out to pay over LN or on-chain with BTC, fiat is accepted as well (but ew). While the event runs from 6-9 participants will be able to stay at the venue until close, and post 9pm all payment forms to the bar will revert back to fiat (cash + card) as they will be opening doors to normal Saturday night business.
