The GBA & Cogent Law Firm are pleased to host a reception for Mr. Ngueti Armand Gaetan in recognition for his recent appointment as the GBA-Africa Lead. He has been recognized for his leadership and community building skills along with his commitment to improving the lives of his fellow citizens by working with government and using technology like blockchain for the common good of communities. For that reason, it is our great pleasure to honor him as the new GBA Regional Lead for Africa.

GBA-Africa Blockchain Economic Development Initiative
Mr. Gaetan is preparing to launch the GBA-Africa Blockchain Economic Development Initiative. This initiative falls under the GBA Economic Development Program with the program goals of implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 1 to 5. They are:
• Goal 1: No Poverty
• Goal 2: Zero Hunger
• Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being for People
• Goal 4: Quality Education
• Goal 5: Gender Equality
In his new capacity, Mr. Gaetan will be working with local, national & international government and private industry leaders to use blockchain technology to overcome many of the challenges facing African communities.
