Karl Kreder (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/karl-kreder-gridplus-consensys/) is Director of Energy for Brooklyn-based blockchain conglomerate, ConsenSys. He plans to deploy Grid+ a secure, Ethereum-enabled gateway, to connect hardware and software for the energy market. Karl received a PhD in Materials Science from The University of Texas at Austin for research in advanced battery technologies.
Sébastien Jehan (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/sebastien-jehan-rockchain/) is CEO of Rockchain, a privacy-centric distributed network for processing senstive data on the public Ethereum blockchain. Sébastien is a veteran software architect with more than 20 years experience with bank and trading systems. He is a Telecommunication engineer with a master's degree in econometrics and financial regulation.
Michael Chin (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/michael-chin-blockmason/) is co-founder of Blockmason which registers debt and credit obligations on the Ethereum blockchain. He spent four years in the credit department at J.P. Morgan Chase during the immediate aftermath of the debt-fueled financial crisis, and close to 5 years at the Hong Kong office of Intermediate Capital Group, one of the pioneers of mezzanine debt in Europe. He calls Blockmason's Credit Protocol without a hint of irony “the next logical step in the decentralized economy".
Hamid Benyahia (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/ethereum-mass-adoption-hamid-benyahia-mehdi-amari-dether/) is CEO of Dether, a peer-to-peer network for connecting cryptocurrency buyers and sellers and physical stores that is based on an Ethereum decentralized application that runs on any smart phone.
Aviv Cohen (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/collaboration-without-corporations-rootcore-aviv-cohen/) is co-founder of Rootcore, a solution for decentralized collaboration based on the Ethereum blockchain. He was the VP of Sales and Operations for online fraud detection company Fraud Sciences which was acquired by PayPal for $169 million. He holds degrees in computer science, statistics and management from MIT and Tel Aviv University.
Igor Lilic (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/igor-lilic-consensys/) is CTO and co-founder of the Enterprise Group at the Brooklyn-based Blockchain conglomerate ConsenSys. He wrote the Proof of Physical Address (PoPA) system and previously worked as a senior consultant for ThoughtWorks, Amazon Web Services, OANDA, SAP and AMD.
Mark D'Agostino (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/mark-dagostino-consensys/) is a managing partner at ConsenSys and the lead for its Energy consulting engagements. He has successfully helped to deliver Ethereum-based applications for Fortune 500 banks, global energy companies and governments.
Rik Esselink (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/rik-esselink/) will be the Session Chair for this conference. Rik is the former marketing director of Philips and MD EMEA for Axon. He is currently MD Europe for one of the world’s fastest growing connected home startups, Ring.com. He has been an active member of the Amsterdam blockchain community for many years.
