Philipp Jovanovic (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/omniledger-securely-scaling-permissionless-blockchains-philipp-jovanovic/) is one of the creators of OmniLedger one the first scale-out distributed ledgers that can preserve long-term security under permissionless operation. He is an expert on blockchain scalability, a cryptographer and post-doctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).

He is a member of the Initiative for CryptoCurrencies and Contracts (IC3) and a scientific advisor to the DFINITY project.

Adam Cleary (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/adam-cleary-novasset-partners/) is the London-based CEO of investment management firm Cavenham Capital Limited and a co-founder of NOVASSET Partners, a consulting group focused on the structuring and distribution of ICOs.

He previously worked for ING Bank NV, Mizuho International plc, and Dresdner Bank managing investments and advising on emerging-market debt portfolios.

Jan Isakovic (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/jan-isakovic-cofoundit-building-distributed-vc-platform/) is CEO of Cofound.it, a distributed VC platform that raised about $14.8 million during its own ICO about 6 months ago. Since then, his team has evaluated over 300 teams and helped launch four successful blockchain startups including Santiment and Maecenas.

Before stepping into the world of decentralized blockchains, he worked for Microsoft and IBM. He plans to demo Cofound.it's new new community evaluation features which pay out cryptocurrency for project evaluations.

The co-founders of STABLE, Krzysztof Kolaczynski and Maciek Kolodziejczyk (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/reducing-risk-stable-foundation-krzysztof-kolaczynski-maciek-kolodziejczyk/), will give an insider's view of cryptocurrency price volatility. Krzysztof is a former FX dealer and currently specializes in systematic, quantitative trading, especially in the volatility and index arbitrage field.

Maciek is a former Corporate Finance Manager for Proctor & Gamble in Poland who became an expert in trading precious metals in 2007. He has been an investor in cryptocurrencies since 2011.

Jake Vartanian (https://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/speakers/digital-token-design-jake-vartanian-cryptodex/) picked up his first bitcoins for less than $1 back in 2011. Since then he's developed a reputation as marketing consultant and token strategist for Cryptodex and Habitat Ventures. He has worked for TokenCard, Bancor and SingularTV.

While the global market cap for cryptocurrency is now more than $ 200 billion, Jake observes how very few new projects are truly innovative. He will talk about the significant experiments in the sector and where he sees opportunities for more innovation.
