Ubuntu is essentially about togetherness, and how all of our actions have an impact on others and on society. “I am, because you are” is how we describe the meaning of Ubuntu. It speaks to the fact that we are all connected and that one can only grow and progress through the growth and progression of others.
As we enter a brand new decade, and with the significant global changes both politically and socially, it is increasingly important for us as a race of people to be around each other - virtually and/or physically.
Support for each other is essential for economic and spiritual growth and as I take on the responsibility of this group, all I ask is for is engagement. I ask that you respond to events, information or requests (whether positive or negative) so that I can at least gauge the appetite for the content being shared.
If anyone wants to get on board then feel free, this is not my group, it's ours so feel free to share amongst your own networks, the more the merrier.
I'm adding as many events that are going on in the city as I can, even if I'm not able to attend them myself.
Thanks for joining and staying the course and if yuh si mi a street....holla!!
