About us
At Blazing Saddles Hawai‘i, we provide a fun and friendly country-western social dance environment for Hawaii's diverse community (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, straight, etc.). Free lessons! Beginners welcome!
Blazing Saddles Hawai‘i is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social organization. All events include music and dance and are smoke free! No entrance fee. Donations are gratefully accepted and help us pay for venue rental and supplies. Come on down and join us!
We meet on Tuesday nights (6:30-9:00 pm) at the Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse Ballroom (2nd floor - look for the rainbow flag), except for the 2nd Tuesday of the month, when we are at the Liliha Food Court. It's best, however, to consult the schedule listing on our website for our exact schedule and venue or for any unexpected changes.
You do not need to be a MeetUp member to join us for any of our events. Just come!

BLAZING SADDLES @ THE LILIHA FOOD COURT THIS TUESDAY (9/8)
As a reminder, on the second Tuesday of the month, Blazing Saddles is at the Liliha Food Court (414 N School St - corner of Liliha & School), instead of the Palladium, so that's where we'll be this Tuesday, 6:30-9:00 pm.
During the evening, there will be open dancing, and we will review some beginner and improver line dances at different intervals, depending on the crowd.
The dance floor is located in the middle of the small food court, and there is no cover charge. We encourage you to purchase food or beverages from the vendors at the food court to help keep it that way. Most vendors close at 7:00 pm, so come early!
There is a good-sized parking lot, but it tends to fill up as the night goes on. We again recommend coming early and/or carpooling.
