What we're about
Do you have an urge to create animated movies with your very own characters?
Do you want to inspire, spread a message to, or entertain an audience while you're at it? The Blender 3D Animation trek may not be easy, but it is most definitely worth it!
Hosting conferences in a classroom format, the 3D Animation Club from one of Denver's local high schools strives to educate and expose children, teenagers, young adults, and yes, even you, parents, the concepts of 3D Animation, 3D Modeling, Rigging, Rendering, and more! After teaching a class for Devoxx4Kids, 3D Animation Club decided to branch out further in order to provide a multitude of sessions and more opportunities for in-depth material; creating the Blender-in-Denver meetup!
Free to download, the tool used is open-source, and is known as Blender.
We only ask for a $3 donation from each member per meeting in order to support in this group's survival on Meetup.com. Donations will be accepted at the beginning of every meeting.
If a member is eager to dive in and prepare themselves for the next meeting, feel free to download Blender prior! The link is below:
