Panel

Josh Inthecity - Project and community lead for PotCoin, one of the first 20 cryptocurrencies ever in existence. Originally created in 2013 to solve the banking issue for the legal cannabis industry, PotCoin was originally thought of as an experiment.

  • Josh's background as an entrepreneur goes back to his roots in the music industry, where he spent years touring, owning recording studios, consulting, judging events and working with organisations who give grants to aspiring artists.
*After being introduced to Bitcoin through a client in the early years, he was very skeptical of its use and value, until learning about decentralization.
Today he spends every waking moment trying to make the world better by raising his kids, increasing awareness of crypto & its ability to give the power back to the people.

Josh M. - Creator of blockchain tutorials, to explain bitcoin, blockchain, and all things cryptocurrency for everyone

Alex Sherbuck - "Blockchain for Normies"; Alex began his career as a Unix administrator at UPMC, Pennsylvania’s largest healthcare provider. Afterwards he moved on to full stack developer for Branding Brand, pioneers of mobile commerce. Then, he took a senior developer position for Bitpay, the largest cryptocurrency payment processor in the world, and has been working with or for open source projects his entire career. He took interest in cryptocurrency in 2013 and has since worked on Bitcoin (Cash), Ethereum, Hyperledger projects and founded I Gave, a charitable open source fundraising platform for the Ethereum blockchain.

Rebecca White - In 2015, Rebecca's son sent her five dollars’ worth of Bitcoin and she read the Satoshi Nakamoto Bitcoin White Paper; there has been no looking back since. Rebecca is a Crypto-Enthusiast that focuses on the adoption of Litecoin as a permissionless, borderless, trustless, decentralized, censorship resistant, immutable, secure form of payment.
Rebecca is the co-founder of “Blockchain in the Burgh” monthly meetup, a Coordinator for the Crypto Campfire Podcast, and a Litecoin Foundation Volunteer.

We are in the CoLab18 Classroom inside of Nova Place.

We would like to aim to start at 6:15PM since we need to vacate the room by 7:30PM. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
