In the age of Coronavirus, governments are passing massive stimulus packages, including $1 trillion just authorized by the U.S. government.
What does this mean for the future of the global economy?
With so much discussion around the possibility of a new "Digital Dollar," we are thrilled to present John C. Edmunds, editor of the new book "Rogue Money and the Underground Economy: An Encyclopedia of Alternative and Cryptocurrencies."
Dr. Edmunds holds a D.B.A. in International Business from Harvard Business School, an M.B.A. in Finance and Quantitative Methods with honors from Boston University, an M.A. in Economics from Northeastern University, and an A.B. in Economics cum laude from Harvard College. He has consulted with the Harvard Institute for International Development, the Rockefeller Foundation, and Stanford Research Institute. He has taught at Babson College, Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain, INCAE in Central America and La Universidad Catlica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, the Arthur D. Little School of Management, Boston University, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Harvard University, Northeaster University, and Hult International Business School. He has lived in six countries and spent eighteen years abroad. He is fluent in Spanish and also speaks French.
In other words, he knows his stuff.
There is probably no better person to speak about international finance at this once-in-a-millennium moment. We are thrilled to have him speak to our blockchain community via Zoom.
See you at 6:30 pm on Thursday. Tell a friend.
