€50,000 in prizes to be awarded to 12 shortlisted blockchain startups selected from over 100 applications from every corner of the globe.
We are delighted to invite you to the GTEC Blockchain Innovation Award Ceremony (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/gtec-blockchain-innovation-award-ceremony-tickets-22650418010) on Tuesday 17th May, held in the Auditorium Maximum at ESMT Berlin (Schlossplatz 1, 10178 Berlin) from 16:00 - 20:00.
The Blockchain Innovation Award is supported by GTEC founding partners RWE and Globumbus and will present a total of €50,000 (€20,000 Gold; €15,000 Silver; €10,000 Bronze, plus a €5,000 Community Prize) to startups and founders working on the best innovation using blockchain technology.

The first of its kind, the aim of the contest is to activate blockchain in Europe. It's industry-and-stage-agnostic: applicants using blockchain technology from anywhere in the world and with any focus were welcome to apply.

The contest has attracted more than 100 impressive applications from across the globe, including startups from Ghana, the US, and Russia, from which the shortlisted startups have been selected.
At the Award Ceremony at ESMT on the 17th May, the shortlisted startups will have the chance to pitch their ideas to investors, academics, and Berlin’s startup community, before the prizes are awarded.
