Blockchain, Law and Corruption

Details

We are really excited to announce that we have partnered with the Stellenbosch Law faculty to invite you to attend the inaugural lecture of Prof. Sope Williams-Elegbe, the first presentation by the faculty to consider the legal implications of blockchain, as a technology.

This is a significant moment for the blockchain ecosystem in South Africa and we are really excited to extend the invitation to you!

Prof. Wiliams-Elegbe holds a Masters Degree in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a Doctorate in Public Procurement and Corruption from the University of Nottingham.

She has also served as the Executive Director of The Glass Centre, a consulting and research firm with specialisation in transparency, integrity, anti-corruption, open government and open data.

Please specifically RSVP to Yolandi at yolandi@sun.ac.za before 18 October 2018.

We look forward to seeing you there!
