Dániel József: The challenges of identity and privacy in public blockchain projects
Privacy is increasingly rising to the forefront of public attention with the likes of the Snowden leak or the Cambridge Analytica scandal. We, as a society, are becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the status quo of letting for-profit corporations own and mine our identity and personal data online, prompting a regulatory crackdown, of which GDPR may only be the forerunner.
Can blockchain technology contribute to a future where individuals, service providers, and regulators can work together for a mutually beneficial mode of existence? Users are unhappy with the current models of handling identity and personal data, but what would they be happy with? Do they even know what they want, as opposed to what they do not? And what does this mean for blockchain-focused entrepreneurs?
- Gábor Pataki: How to manage the volatility of cryptocurrencies withStop-Loss Manager
The volatility of cryptocurrencies is so high that is cannot be tracked in 7/24 trading systems, while capital orprofits are worth protecting. In trading systems, theavailability of stop-loss orders is limited, sliding stop-loss is not an option in many cases. The management of investment positions will be automated with Stop-LossManager software, which allows up to 7 offers to be pre-set and they will be activated in USD. We arepresenting the operation of the software live on Binaceand Bitstamp stock exchanges.
