Speakers Bios
Kai Schmidt
Founder of Crypto Development Fund
Kai graduated from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Business Administration. He wrote his final thesis in cooperation with the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center about the potential of Blockchain-based applications in developing countries. After having worked in consulting and investment banking, Kai joined Rocket Internet as a global venture manager where he was sent to Bangladesh. During his time in Bangladesh, Kai experienced the challenges of developing countries and learned how to build start-ups in unstable environments.
Jordi Baylina
Founder of Iden3, Giveth and Dappnode. Ethereum Software developer with extensive experience on smart contracts development and auditing. Jordi is a thought leader and driver of the Snarks JS in relation to self-sovereign identity. Iden3 is a scalable distributed identity infrastructure using zero knowledge proof to guarantee privacy.
Nik Page
He started working toward one in UI testing and design when UI’s were distributed on floppies and CDs. He has been part of their evolution from those early days before a public internet, in San Francisco. Along the way he learned the interface (UI) is NOT experience (UX) and that in design, Best Practices often lead to failure.
Currently Nik is a startup mentor, an experience strategist & designer, a Google Developer Expert, and a fanatic about designing the future. He promotes user experience strategy & design in crypto as the way to mass adoption and eventual social changes.
