Cutting edge of Bitcoin Lightning, Cross-chain Interoperability, pizza & drinks

Fellow Bitcoiners & cryptocurrency enthusiasts, for our next physical meetup at the The Cube rooftop we are thrilled to be hosting speakers that will update us on the cutting-edge of developing on top of the Bitcoin Lightning Network and cross-chain development between Ethereum and other blockchains!

Pizza & drinks will be available and we encourage mingling & networking! Attendance is, as always, free.

- Andreas Koidis (https://www.linkedin.com/in/koidis/) is a co-founder at https://c13n.io, an opensource middleware for transferring data within Lightning payments and Bitcoin & Blockchain lead at https://www.programize.com.

- George Tsagkarelis (https://twitter.com/GeorgeTsag) is a full-stack Lightning Engineer working on the https://c13n.io project. He also has experience with IPFS and has worked and contributed to the Libre Space Foundation.

- Odysseas (https://odyslam.com/) is a developer at https://www.nomad.xyz, a novel approach to blockchain interoperability that leverages an optimistic mechanism to increase the security of cross-chain communication. Using Nomad, developers can securely build cross-chain applications (or xApps) and bridge assets between chains. Odysseas has presented at TEDxUniversityofPiraeus before.

The presentations will be in English. You can ask questions in Greek if you want to.

We are meeting on the rooftop of The Cube (https://thecube.gr) at 73, Aiolou Str (enter XPHH+Q7 Athens into Google or Google Maps). Access the rooftop by taking the elevator to the 6th floor. If the weather is bad we will meet on the 5th floor with all windows and balcony doors open.

- Ο Γιώργος Τσαγκαρέλης (https://twitter.com/GeorgeTsag) είναι full-stack μηχανικός στο Lightning και εργάζεται στο πρότζετκ https://c13n.io. Διαθέτει σημαντική εμπειρία στο IPFS και έχει εργαστεί και συνεισφέρει στο Libre Space Foundation.

- Ο Οδυσσέας (https://odyslam.com/) είναι προγραμματιστής στην https://www.nomad.xyz, μια καινοτόμα λύση για τη διαλειτουργικότητα μεταξύ blockchains που αυξάνει την ασφάλεια των επικοινωνιών. Με το Nomad οι προγραμματιστές μπορούν να φτιάξουν cross-chain εφαρμογές και να γεφυρώσουν (bridge) περιουσιακά στοιχεία (assets) ανάμεσα σε blockchains. Ο Οδυσσέας έχει μιλήσει στο TEDxUniversityofPiraeus.
