I love working out, because it gives me an excuse to drink beer (not really I'd drink it anyways). If you like working out and drinking beer as much as I do then come join me at Blood, Sweat & Beers.This is a meet-up group for anyone looking for a kick ass workout and an excuse to drink beer afterwards with like minded friends. We will meet at a local park to work up a sweat with a bootcamp-style workout (think bodyweight moves, burpees, sprints, etc.), then once we've burned enough calories we'll head to a bar in Royal Oak to celebrate with a beer or two (or three)!

I started this group because I love to workout (I'm a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) and because I love beer - don't you? The workouts will last 45 minutes to an hour and we will workout rain or shine - come dressed for the weather and prepare to work! For now, we will meet at Wagner Park in Royal Oak and from there we'll walk/run/drive/bike down to Main Street for a drink at your favorite spot (The Rock, Royal Oak Brewery, ROAK, Mr. B's, wherever).

The fun begins on Monday April 4th at 6:00 pm and every Monday thereafter for as long as the weather holds. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join. I don't care if you're in great shape, good shape or no shape at all and age doesn't matter (as long as your old enough drink), you will benefit from this workout. So grab a towel or mat, some water, and a friend and meet me at the Park.

The cost for this fun, only $5 (beer not included) and for that you'll get a well-planned, supervised, and highly intense workout. It's cheaper than any other group exercise class you'll find and I guarantee you'll have fun and get in a great workout. Don't take my word for it, come check it out and if its not for you I'll refund your money.

*** Postponing TENTATIVELY until June 10th **** Stay tuned for any updates! Blood, Sweat & Beers will be kicking off year 5 of sweaty workouts and refreshing hangouts with friends! Join us for a celebration and an the official start to the 2020 season! Looking forward to many more pushups, burpees, planks, jumps, squats and of course beers! As always, come dressed for an outdoor, all-weather workout (there's no telling what we will get mid-April)! We'll meet in the middle of Meininger Park for the inaugural workout and then head to ROAK Brewing after for a celebratory cheers. ** Stay tuned for any location updates ** Be sure to RSVP and mark your calendars now! I'd love to have as many people there for the first workout of Year 5 but need to give the brewery a heads up on how many will be joining. As always, expect a great full-body strength + cardio workout. No need to bring anything except water (and a shirt change for after, if you'd like). Looking forward to see you there!

Join us, starting back up in Spring 2020, every Wednesday evening for the best outdoor bootcamp-style workout followed by an ice cold beer (or 2)! Workouts are held at Meininger Park in Royal Oak and begin at 6PM. We'll sweat for an hour - workouts change each week and are adaptable for all fitness levels. A combination of bodyweight strength + plyometrics, kettlebells, dumbbells, HIIT + more. After, we head to Royal Oak (or nearby) to grab drinks + food & catch-up at a local watering hole - wherever we feel like going that day! The only thing you'll need for sure is water, but feel free to bring a towel or clean shirt for post-workout, sunscreen/bug spray, or an exercise mat. Drop in fee for class is $10.
