This is a Tai Chi community based on traditional Yang style Tai Chi. We include solo forms, chi gong exercises, push hands, and weapons forms. The instructor has 20 years experience with training from the Gin Soon Tai Chi Federation in Boston, MA. The instructor is also trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE), a body-based trauma therapy. SE will be incorporated into lessons so that each student feels safe and comfortable with adjustments and movements. This is a Trauma-informed Tai Chi study blended with a rich exploration of traditional Yang style.
This community is open to everyone, regardless of physical ability. The aim is to help people feel strong and empowered through movement and connection, using traditional Tai Chi as a framework.
