I am a 5:30am Tuesday morning track regular, along with a handful of other dedicated, time crunched individuals. If you're looking for some company in the early morning hours, along with some motivation, please come join us! We start at 5:30am SHARP at the Mt. Pleasant track, behind town hall on Houston Northcutt Blvd. We do a 1 mile-ish warm up through the nearby neighborhood and then hit the track. Depending on time, we do the same neighborhood cool down or some track cool down. We bring our own workouts and our own paces. You can bring your own workout or jump in with one of ours. Sometimes we all end up doing the same workout. At the very least, we offer encouragement as we get the workout done before the sun comes up. At the very most, we offer accountability, safety in numbers, some good banter and a reason to show up and get 'er done! If you show up at 5:35am and don't see us, we are warming up and will be right back to hit the track! If you have any questions, please feel free to message me via MeetUp. Remember, if you want to run faster, you have to spend some time in the fast lane! • What to bring Water bottle, headlamp or blinky light, a towel for your car because you will sweat! An awesome attitude!
TUESDAY NIGHT RIDES ARE BACK! We've missed your smiling faces and pretty bikes every Tuesday, and we are so ready to get back to our weekly rides! When: Tuesday, March 26th, 6pm Of course, we are kicking off our group ride season with more than just a ride! We will have some raffle prizes from a few of our favorite brands. And stick around because the fun won't stop when the ride is over, we will get together afterwards to hang out, catch up, and socialize. We will gather here at the store, and do our ride to the islands and back. As always, no drop and all levels welcomed.
We are meeting under the bridge at Waterfront Park, playground side, from now until the Bridge Run! 5+ mile options and all paces are welcome! Why you might enjoy this run if: You’re one of those runners who smartly doesn’t like to run alone in the dark You’re addicted to the Low Country sunrises You like to git r dun before the rest of the world wakes up You will get out of bed and run if you know someone else will be there No one cares what you look like at 6am (don't worry, no mandatory group photos!) You won’t spend your day talking yourself out of your run! The best place to park is either in front of the store, the parking garage at The Boulevard or the gravel parking lot behind GDC on Fairmont Avenue.
Are you registered for the She Tris Sprint Triathlon in June and looking for some guidance and group training opportunities?
