π π Speed Gaming for Singles π¨ π@ East Library β Community Room May 4th.
π All ages of Single Adults welcome.π
This is at the East Library East Community Meeting. And the time is 1:30 till 5;00 p.m.
People seem to like this new format for gaming which will allow everyone to meet more people. There are a lot of people attending our "normal" game events who only meet a small number of people, because, typically, you sit down with one group and never meet others outside your group. So I call this Speed Gaming. We will split into groups of 4 and then at 15 minute intervals we will announced, βtimeβ, and people will move to another group. [The overhead screen shows your new location.]
- Goal to maximize the number of unique groups of people, to maximize the amount of socializing with maximum people.
Due to the time frame, we will focus on short game. If a particular game is not complete, there is usually a way to determine a βwinnerβ at the time of the change. If you have any ideas for short games, that are trivial to learn, please bring them. I will post some here and people are more than welcome to post other game suggestions in the comments section. And the games should be easy to learn! Different games at most tables.
Come have some FUN!!! Get together with others for a fun afternoon of games. Bring your favorite short game.
Some game suggestions:
- Jenga
- Uno - determine who wins with least cards at "time'
- Yahtzee
- Hearts
- Spoons
- Pit
- Left Center Right
.. please bring any other games that would work for 4 people
The library does let us bring some food, so please bring something to share: A Snack π¨, Soda, Water, or best of all make your favorite homemade treat π² to share.πͺππ. As always please take home your leftovers. (No alcohol allowed in our Public Libraries.)
SEE YOU THERE!
ATTENDANCE: Please keep your RSVP up-to-date. We have to limit the attendance due to the meeting room size: If you hold a spot and do NOT attend, you keep others from attending. If you are a frequent no show we may have to ban you. So be kind and only RSVP YES if you plan to attend. If your plans change, please change your RSVP well before the event, preferably more than a day before to allow others to plan!
