We are a collection of board gamers that meets in Aurora on a weekly basis to play games, both new and old. We're generally willing to play anything, and members can bring their own games from home if they wish to teach us something new. Otherwise you can count on there being plenty of options to choose from.

Why are we taking donations? What does the money go towards?
Keeping the group on Meetup.com costs $100 every 6 months, so all donations go directly towards that. If we raise more than that, we will decide as a group what to spend the money on, but most likely either snacks for the events, or the idea of buying board games has been floated.
It's my plan to be very up front about the costs. I'll post in each weeks event saying how much we've got, and will keep a count. There's also a method for officially reporting that money on this site, though I'm not sure that's visible to everyone, so I'll try to figure out a way to keep everyone aware of how much we have.
