MeepleCon (formerly ConVic) is on for the 13th time.
It's a weekend of board gaming, MeepleCon draws the board gaming convention season to a close for the year.
Come celebrate the best that gaming has to offer, the newest games and the greatest classics. MeepleCon brings together a welcoming and friendly community of gamers from all around Australia.
Bring your own games, play the games of others or our games library! Plus we’ll have all of the latest and greatest games from Essen (thanks to unhalfbricking.com (http://unhalfbricking.com/)).
While the main focus is open gaming, we will have tournaments and special events including:
a 15 player game of Fische Fluppen Frikadellen (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/4370/fische-fluppen-frikadellen) an 8 player game of Ludicreation's new game Essen (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/157014/essen) Johan Sebastian Joust (a dexterity/bluffing game) throughout the day 10th Anniversary Tournaments for Ticket to Ride (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/160069/ticket-ride-10th-anniversary) and Power Grid (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/155873/power-grid-deluxe-europenorth-america) using their new anniversary edition boards. Plus as per last year we'll be holding a silent auction, with proceeds going to charity.
