Free Coding Workshop - Full Day

Join the Boca Code team for a full day of hands-on learning in software engineering! In this entry-level workshop you'll learn:

• Exactly what software engineering is and how it's not all just "coding"
• See what exciting careers are available for software engineers and what it takes to become one
• Write your first lines of code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• What versioning is and how to do it with GitHub
• How to deploy code using Firebase
• Walkthrough putting a web page together!

This is an in-person event with the option to stream online. We observe all recommended social distancing guidelines, regularly sanitize all workspaces and require masks inside the building.
