Bodhi Meditation techniques are a way to swiftly strengthen the body’s energy and regain health. Bodhi practices alleviate suffering and pain brought about by environmental pollution, inadequate diet, stress and fatigue.

The core technique taught in Bodhi Meditation is the Meditation of Greater Illumination. This is complemented by the practices of The Meditation of Purity, chanting, prostration, Energy Bagua and the Meditation of Awakening Wisdom. These practices provide a framework for increasing your energy and transforming your life.

Bodhi Meditation welcomes people of all backgrounds to come and learn simple, practical methods for deeply relaxing and improving well-being. By learning the principles behind meditation, one can also find a deep sense of self-awareness which allows one to gain a clearer perspective on the world and a greater understanding of the Law of Nature. Heightened self-awareness leads to better capability at handling challenges, maintaining harmony in the family and creating a successful career. Through meditation and spiritual cultivation, one accumulates merit and thereby transforms daily life into a path of freedom and auspiciousness.

Greenburgh Library: Warm Up and Replenish Energy to Enjoy the Holidays

As the weather becomes colder, our bodies need extra warmth and energy to stay healthy and strong. With the holidays coming up, let’s take time to care for ourselves so that we can enjoy and care for those around us.

This session we will include:

• Energy Bagua Aerobics: this simple exercise includes light stretching and aerobics designed to clear the energy meridians in the body and increase balance and flexibility.
• Guided meditation to calm the mind, enabling the body to come into a state of greater balance.
• Closing exercises to integrate the energy received into mind and body.

For the exercise, please ensure you have room in front of your device for stretching. For the meditation, you may sit either on a cushion on the floor or in a chair with arms. Please wear comfortable clothes. You may want to have a sweater or blanket available as body temperature can drop during meditation.

Through building a consistent practice, Bodhi Meditation practitioners have reported experiencing many benefits, including mental, spiritual and physical. For more information on group practice in Westchester, please contact Kristen Lu ([masked]).
