Reflection and Meditation: our weekly meeting
Every week we have a discussion around a Buddhist topic and a meditation session of about 30 minutes. Beginners are welcome. The group has the guidance of the Tibetan teacher Ringu Tulku and is part of the Bodhicharya network. www.bodhicharya.org (http://www.bodhicharya.org/) http://www.bodhicharya-london.org.uk/ The sessions are facilitated by Dirk de Klerk. The evening usually consists of meditation sessions, with guidance and instruction, that are comfortably split into 10 minute sessions with time for a good stretch in between. A related topic is also introduced and discussed. The group is made up of the participants so active engagement, questions, reflections and discussion are welcome; participants have been presenting their own reflections and studies on the topic: teaching and sharing is the best way to learn. However, if you prefer to just sit back, listen, reflect, that is also very good. There are comfortable chairs and meditation cushions available. We recommend a donation of £5.
