What we're about
Facing a divorce can be challenging, to say the least. Untying the knot is much more complicated than tying it. Figuring out how to share time with children, untangling finances, who gets the house, etc. can be positively overwhelming. I know because I've been there. And it was hard to know where to turn for solid advice. Friends and family were well-meaning, but there was a lot they just couldn't answer, or they were too close to the subject to be objective. Attorneys were expensive. I have learned so much over the last decade or so - not only about the divorce process, but more importantly I have learned that there is, indeed, life after divorce. I am a clinical social worker and I specialize in supporting divorcing couples and families. I started this group to create an informative, free, supportive environment for people who are considering a divorce or beginning the divorce process.
