Bob LeBow Benefit Bicycle Ride

Details
The Bob LeBow Bicycle Ride is a fun, well-organized road ride for a great local cause! Sponsored by Terry Reilly Health Services each year, this ride raises money for the Zero Pay Fund which benefits those who cannot afford medical care without total financial support from Terry Reilley Health Services.
Join the Boise Trailheads team and register before 5 pm on May 27 on the Terry Reilly Health Services website listed below as a BTH team rider to get a $5 discount. Be sure to enter the team code 96CA at the bottom of the individual registration form to qualify for the discount. The Team name is "Boise Trail Heads". There are several tour options and teams do not have to ride the same tour. The tour options are 3, 10, 25, 35, 62, and 100 miles. Your team registration fee of $15-$40 gets you a sporty number to pin on your shirt as you ride, a Bob LeBow t-shirt, sag wagon support, rest stop sustenance, first aid should you need it, a goody bag with discount coupons from sponsors, and a meal ticket to the after-ride BBQ. Your tour option determines the fee amount.
It's a ride not a race! The tours take you along scenic areas in south Nampa wine country and even into Oregon for those riding 100 miles. Once you register with the Terry Reilly Health Services website and choose your tour, sign on to this BTH event and let us know which tour you're on so we can help arrange carpooling, gather as a group at the start of each tour, and find each other at the BBQ after the ride.
Once registered, check the TRHS website for packet pickup at REI in Boise beginning June 2 or Nampa/Terry Reilly Health Services beginning June 6, or on June 11 at the ride site.

Additional correspondence from Ann Sandven via email posted on May 14, 2011.
Greetings, fellow bike riders and supporters.
Finally, it feels like spring outside in our corner of southwest Idaho. Having recently toured rural Canyon County, I can tell you that the fields are greening up and the crops are growing. In other words, we have the makings for a beautiful ride in the country when the 9th annual Bob LeBow Bike Tour hits the road Saturday, June 11.
This year, early registration, as well as team registration end on Friday, May 27. If you wait to register your team on Memorial Day, you will be too late. So gather up family and friends, inspect your bike, and sign up for the ride today: www.trhs.org (http://www.trhs.org/).
You can, of course, register all the way up to the day of the event, but that will cost a bit more. But, it is all for a great cause – the Terry Reilly Zero Pay Fund, which helps our neediest patients access primary care without financial barriers.
Our thanks to our Guardian Angel sponsor this year, Commercial Tire. In addition to their cash sponsorship, they will also be providing sag wagon support. So give their crew a friendly wave, if you see them on the 11th.
Happy and safe riding,
Ann Sandven, MPH, RD
